I am a web & interactive media design student, a tea drinker, and a rock-climber based in Portland, OR. I specialize in semantic, hand-coded websites, and I love grids and type. I design websites and graphics at 2:00 AM so I dont look like a computer addict during the day.
Other than designing and being geeky, I enjoy tea, bouldering, and reading novels. I love learning about the brain and working with microcontrollers. I recycle & save the world.
Okay, I love robots. I love to build, code, break, fight, and generally create robots. Of course I do other electronics projects too, but building robots is one of my favorite hobbies. I have a Vimeo page nearly dedicated to my robot projects (when I get a chance to film them). I use the Arduino platform for most of the robot brains; it's a really neat microcontroller to have. Get one.
I spent a year at Oregon State University doing Computer Engineering, where I met some amazing people and made some really cool projects. And although it isn't my major anymore, I will continue to engineer robots, hack the internetzz, and fix my grandma's computer.
If you have an interest in robots or Arduino, or any geeky computer stuff, talk to me!
P.S. Yes I enjoyed Wall-E.
I am a web design & interactive media student at the Art Institute of Portland, and I have been designing websites and graphics for more than 3 years. It’s something I just love to do. I am mostly interested in front-end development and information design, but I am trying to extend my knowledge indefinitely.
Essentially, I enjoy making websites and making people happy while they view the websites.
Here are some of my most recent website designs that are both personal- and client-based. If you would like to see more, just send me a message in the contact form below. I also have custom Myspace layouts and graphic pieces on my DeviantArt account in the social links on the bottom of this page. If you would like to have your website in my portfolio (AKA have me work for you), please fill out the contact form, email me, or @reply me on Twitter.
I am currently available for work, so feel free to either email me directly (rodneykeeling@gmail.com) or send me a message through the contact form. If you have any questions or comments about anything, feel free to send me an email using the form to the right.
I appreciate critiques as well as compliments! If email isn’t best for you, contact me on one of the social networking sites listed below.
